Every Sands of Scent candle is poured by hand in small batches in New York. We take our time so the wax sets evenly, the scent throw is true, and every jar feels like a piece of the studio came with it.
Sourced with intention
We start with 100% natural soy wax, pure cotton wicks, and premium fragrance oils that are phthalate- and paraben-free. No shortcuts on the inputs — that's where every great candle begins.
Blended in small batches
Each scent is composed in small batches so the top, heart, and base notes have room to breathe. We test, cure, and re-test until the fragrance throws beautifully both cold and lit.
Poured by hand
Every jar is filled by hand at the perfect temperature, wicked, and left to cure for days before it ever sees a label. It's slow on purpose.
Tested before it ships
Before a scent makes the lineup, we burn-test every batch for even melt pools, clean wick performance, and a consistent throw — so the candle in your home behaves like the one we fell in love with in the studio.
